My new coat is leaking feathers !

Ive just bought a new M&S coat (from an ebay shop) and when I take it off my clothes are covered in little fluffy feathers which seem to be coming from the lining which is feather and down. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a way of stopping this because if not I think Im going to try and get my money back ..?

You may walk and you may run
You leave your footprints all around the sun
And every time the storm and the soul wars come
    You just keep on walking
  • oh thats good - I didnt really want to go through the hassle of sending it back as I do like the coat and would rather keep it. Im happy to persevere if it will stop but didnt want to go through winter picking feathers off me ! thanks
  • Hi there. When the coat is new all of the feathers are quite sharp and pointy and push their way out of the lining. As you wear it more the feathers 'should' soften and won't force their way out so much.

As said it should get better. If you see one poking out you can carefully pull them back into the coat by pinching it from the other side.
