I have some cash in Nationwide International (IoM). I know that the IoM deposit protection scheme is not as safe as the FSCS but the savings are backed explicitly by the Nationwide (UK).
So my guarantee is really effectively underwritten by Nationwide BS - How safe are they ?

thanks for the reply. I think they are pretty safe....that said, they say that about all of the institutions .. right up until they get into difficulty.0
