Cheap Hotels In Manchester

I'm going to manchester for the weekend and looking for a hotel for the 5th and 6th December. The cheapest I can see is travelodge(disbury) at £100.
Does anyone know of ways of getting it cheaper with free parking and no more than 6 miles away from Piccadilly Station.
Thanks

I also need a Manchester hotel on the 15th November (double room), but I'd preferably want to be a walkable distance from picadilly and pay less than £50 for the night (Alot to ask, I know!). Anyone with any ideas would be appreciated!
To the OP: I had a look on all the websites i've been using, and no luck - you could probably get a nicer hotel in the centre of town for about the same price through the priceline 'name your own price' thing. I'd suggest reading the thread about it on here first though!0 -
Any ideas anyone?:rolleyes:0

I suggest that you look at self catering apartments that will give you much better accommodation quality and space (equivalent of a suite in a hotel) for less than £100 a night... usually sleeping at least 4 too. Just do a Google search on Serviced or Self Catering apartments.LBM 1/8/08 Debt@LBM £7829 (ex£3kOD)

The Travelodge at Manchester Sports City is usually quite well priced, has free parking, and is closer to Picadilly. I often find the traffic getting from Didsbury into the city centre is dreaful.
Hope that helps,

£3 a night to park on site, and its very easy to get to.
Can't go wrong in my humble opinion.0 -
