WMP play count?

Hi,

It's a longshot, but does anyone know if it is possible to find out
how many times you have listened to a song on Windows media player?
I am slightly obsessed with numbers ,and love the "most heard" feature on the

  • Hi,

There is a way to view how many times each track has been played since it was added to the library. For WMP 11 click on the "library" tab at the top (in between "now playing" and "rip". Click on "Songs" within the "Library" section in the left hand pane. This brings up every song in the library. Now right click on any of the columns at the top (where there are columns for title, album, artist etc.) and select choose columns. Find and tick the "play count" box and click ok. This column will be added and now you can click on it to sort it into most or least played order. It may hang for a while if you have tons of music in your library like me. Hope that helps.
