cancelling payment protection on a credit card

hi
ive got an alliance and leicster credit card (for the past 6 months) and want to know if its possible to cancel the payment protection on it at this stage?

Payment Protection Summary of Cover. :

YOUR RIGHTS TO CANCEL

You can cancel your cover within 30 days of receiving your Policy. You will receive a full refund of any premium you have paid provided that you have not made a claim. If you have made a claim then we will be entitled to retain an amount of premium, which represents the amount of time that you have been covered by the Policy. If you do not cancel your cover within 30 days, your cover will continue for the remaining period but if you subsequently cancel your cover you will not be entitled to a refund of premiums.
