Hi I have just recovered my laptop computer and now I can't get my internet connection to work. It is saying the conectivity is limited and when I try to repair it says it cant find the IP address. I am not very computer literate so would appreciate a fairly simple reply if possible. I am using the laptop for my nursing studies and I am lost without it.
I do hope someone can help.

When you say "recovered" what do you mean? What happened to it? Presumably it was working OK beforehand?
Also, it would be useful to know what operating system you're using; XP? Vista?0 -
If it was an encryption key issue, would you get a "limited connectivity" error? That usually means you're connected to your router but not the internet.
Try right clicking on the wireless icon in the bottom right hand corner of the screen and running a connection "repair".0 -
