    Evening everyone.

A busy day at work and I was glad to get home.

When I cam in my front gate there was lots of pieces of cardboard box all over. So had to pick those up. Off to my bed shortly with a hot drink.

justamum Hope you have managed to get the mice situation sorted

hex Well done on geting top marks for your assignments.

    Kassey Welcome also SFARD.

lil_me hope your arms are ok and you are not in too much pain.

pigpen Aww Im sorry to hear about the bunny. Hugs for you and the children.
Hope you manage to get things sorted with your DH. I would be annoyed too when its already been agreed. Have sent you pm for the Christmas list.

Mudbath Glad you had a lovely weekend away. I recently told my boss I loved her at the end of a phone conversation. I was so embarrassed and she hasnt let me forget it.

I managed HHI this morning, as well as a quick swim and still made it to work (just) on time. It was a real effort getting up this morning, as it was cold, dark, damp and windy - Valli - it's not just you, I was shattered by the time I got to work and lots of other people were feeling grotty and fed up.

Please excuse any typos, I'm having some problems hitting the correct keys, so I'm guessing I'm probably overtired and my co-ordination is shot to bits... hopfully I'll notice and correct them, but its my right hand that's affected (I swear its typing completely different WORDS to the ones I'm sending it, not just getting letters in the wrong order!).

Polka - well done for holding out against the cravings, and just think about how productive it's making you!

Pigpen - hugs for the bunny problems. As for OH... you know best how to deal with him, and I'm sure you'll do so very effectively. Surely he realises that if he doesn't support you and it means you don't get to uni, you'll end up resenting it for years, even if only subconsciously? Still, if you can make it through this year, halls looks like being a very attractive option!

Toots - sounds like you'll be making a fortune if you actually shift all that stuff. Let me know when you want some more

Tom - good to see you back... if you can cope with this (both the flying and the flyladies ) nothing will phase you

    Lil_me - SIT STILL!!!

Welcome to the newbies. Hugs to all who need them. Congrats to those who are keeping up, and gentle encouragement/kicks to all as appropriate.

I'm just back (well, just and 10 pages of this thread ) from work, so off to find food and work out what I really can't get away without doing, seeing as I deep-cleaned the LR at the weekend, and have closed the door on it very firmly!

Lost my internet access for half an hour... but having learnt from experience, I always select all and copy before I submit, so saved this to a word doc while whoever was playing games with the firewalls/internet access at work sorted it out! It's taking several goes to get this to post

Denisefowler – your business related list looks how mine should. I really must get my backside into gear if this self employed stuff is to work. I have a couple of regular clients but need to build up more work now that DS2 is settled into school.

Did I say that I got full marks on the first two assignments? Shocked because it was mood boards and technical drawings – I can’t draw and I have absolutely no taste. Really pleased with myself and looking forward to the rest of the course a lot more now.

Well done Hex, that's great - and in something you [STRIKE]can't [/STRIKE]couldn't do before - even better...:T

I know what you mean about the list - they are on there but not done - that's why I need to do them, but I hate marketing and speaking to people to ask them for work - I can do my work with my eyes shut, but getting the work is another matter...:o

    Hello all you wonderful people!!

I'm feeling alot brighter today, thanks to you :)I've been just "pottering" ever since I got home.

Have also: brushed both dogs, watered tomato plants, talked with neighbour, made dinner and cleaned up straight away, put two days worth of washing away, cleared kitchen bench. I wish I could feel like this every day **sigh**

Hi Denise, glad you're feeling better today - I wish it was like that every day too... Do you think people sell 'omphf' in a bottle somewhere (legally!)...

  • Hi Guy's, just trying to catch up (only on page 6), but getting there - so sorry if posts are a bit disjointed...

I've obviously not done windows or anything else on my list today - first time I've had chance to sit down since I got home and had dinner - so obviously first choice was to come on here...:j

Catch you all in a bit...

That makes me feel better Greenbee

:hello: Toots I was waaay too grumpy to inflict myself on all of you...thanks for missing me ***feeling good***

Trouble is work being how it is doesn't really give me a chance to vent either - since I spend most of my time with 27 7 and 8 years olds...it's not really a place to have 'social interaction' and then I come home to two more...

anyhoo I am supposed to be marking - just written a letter to school though DS has now decided he doesn't want to go skiing - and since they want £250 this week I thought I had better put it in writing. The deposit may be lost - but he paid it...his loss...

Trouble is he gets VERY homesick - he won't even sleepovernight at his grandparents (my parents) anymore and last time he went to his cousins I had to go and get him...

Anybody would think I am a nice, kind loving mum with a beautiful home and delicious home cooked meals:rotfl: :rotfl:

BTW I HAVE pressed the thanks button EVERY POST but?
