Have a great time at the meet everyone :D

I think it would be great to have more of these - I need a bit of a social life!!

    - I might be persuaded to sort tickets / hotels / etc. if people want that -

    Well volunteered :T :T :T

kazw is looking into doing a map, Valli's sorting the cleaning materials spreadsheet, and I THINK I might have found a webspace for us to put some of this stuff onto - I've just got to work out how to get some people access to change things on it and some to just view it... and we need a name... I though I might check out the ones Pigpen came up with last week:rotfl:

Re a southern meet if the majority want London, that's fine but I don't think I'd go - I really, really detest the place

That's a perfectly reasonable attitude to London... but you wouldn't be going there to see London, you'd be going to see US!!!

That would be the only shining star in the otherwise dark bleakness of the place. Plus it would take me ages to get there whether by train or by car. Then extra travel time getting across London to whereever the meet would take place. But, really, don't worry, go with the majority view.

This assignment is kicking my brain into "what about my personal situation?" mode. I've just posted a question about insurance instead of doing my work as a result.

I'm going to go and do it now. Honestly I am. However I can see a walk to the park being on the cards when DD gets home at this rate as I just can't concentrate.

I've just ordered stacks of stuff from Boots.. plus 6 of the big things I wanted for the children/niece for christmas.. saves carrying them home on the bus! I also spent my ebay profits.. and got another £30 in points.. and stashed enough deodourant for the male specimens for at least a months or two. There are a couple more small things I want from there and another 3 large things which will wait until I can get the stuff home on the bus because I want to spend some points.. and I have £50 in vouchers to use too.

I need them in large boxes too as I have to sort the presents I have bought into individual boxes.

I am now going to go kick some children into getting the bedroom tidied as it is a state and a half.. it is unfit for habitation by rats let alone human beings!

I love all those films, Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal, Willow, they're my favourites.

Ohh, me too, although can't remember Labyrinth for some reason, but know I've seen it (did it have David Bowie in it?) mmmm, will have to get that back out I think... have the others on video and often watch them over again...

Just found out they're doing another Dark Crystal film... 'The Power of the Dark Crystal' - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0460907/plotsummary if you want to know more (not much more mind...)
