Reclaiming charges in Australia

Sorry to ask a tricky question.....I can't find any kind of site like this for Australia. Does anyone know if you would be able to try and reclaim cc and bank charges over here? The fees are equivalently high and I assume would be considered overcharging in relation to the fees that the institutes occur. I know that the banking codes are different etc but it's still unfair. Should I just give it a go or does anyone know that it definitely wouldn't work.

How much have you search the web? There is no Australian site similar to this with a bank charges forum but there is a Bank Charges campaign in Australia......
