I keep getting a message saying NO CONNECTION TO INTERNET... and then the choice to work off line. Since this is not connected to the internet I do not try to connect. So how do I stop this box constantly popping up, please?
Also, where do I find the place where I can remove programmes I do not wish to automatically start up when the Laptop is switched on. I have tried run/MSCONFIG ( as with Windows XP) and SYSTEM TOOLS as with windows 98, but no success.
Many thanks for answers

Hi, upgrade IE to IE 6 SP1 and make sure you have all of the available security updates from Microsoft, also check to make sure that in tool> Internet Options> Connections> Lan Settings and make sure the "Automatically Detect Settings" box is ticked.Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want?
