remember not to start at your lowest price, after all you can negotiate down from £5500 for example, but not up from £5k if that's what you list it at.Remember the time he ate my goldfish? And you lied and said I never had goldfish. Then why did I have the bowl Bart? Why did I have the bowl?0

Autotrader has these listed at between £6200 and £7000 for exactly the same ages, mileage etc. So dont sell for £5k unless you really just want shot of it. patience could get you a couple of extra grande to clear off the loan sooner.:A Luke 6:38 :AThe above post is either from personal experience or is my opinion based on the person God has made me and the way I understand things. Please don't be offended if that opinion differs from yours, but feel free to click the 'Thanks' button if it's at all helpful!0

If you go onto whatcar.co.uk and put in the model and milage for their valuation, it comes up with:
Toyota RAV4 4x4 (00-05) 2.0 VX 5dr 2003 (03)58,000 milesDealer£5,800
Private£5,140
Part exchange£4,815
Trade£4,590
Cost new£11,500
For Stylish, good to drive and easy to live with
Against Not cheap to buy, and road tax is pricey
Reliability Speedo unit may fail. Airbag sensor can play up. Window motors may need replacing. Engine and other mechanicals are highly reliable.
Ohps, the above seems to be the petrol version. Diesel one states:Dealer£6,705
Private£5,940
Part exchange£5,535
Trade£5,300
Cost new£12,500

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

You need to go national with your advertising. People will travel for the right car.
Autotrader, eBay classifides, or even auction always made book price on eBay auctions and it cuts out all that haggling.
I second the above advice... not just because of the reason highlighted above.
My ignorance tells me that because you live in a village/rural area... your market is limited due to a smaller population.
Give it another try on Autotrader, but before you do... check out what comparatives are advertised at and price a little better if you can.0 -
