try gumtree.com, for bundles of clothes too, much simpler, just a case of emailing any suitable finds!0

I'm bidding on bundles of clothes on ebay at the moment. My boy is chunky and I know that next t-shirts fit him well because they're wider than some others. There's no way I could buy him new clothes from next!
I've been buying jogging bottoms instead of trousers or jeans. Asda and tesco both do basic joggers for around £2. Things like coats and jumpers are usually included in ebay bundles (so are trousers, but as I said my boy is chunky so he's difficult to buy for).52% tight0 -

If you are OK with second hand stuff - post a wanted ad on your local freecycle group. Hopefully you will get lots of response - and the stuff that you do not need you can then freecycle onwards or send to charity shop.0

Asda, Tesco or charity shops.0

I second Tesco for the everyday stuff - they have great tops for £4-5 and jeans/trousers for not much more. They last pretty well too.
For waterproofs I'd go somewhere like www.vikingkids.co.uk - it's not worth going for the cheap and cheerful (matalan etc), it won't last. If you buy good ones on the big side to start with, they should last him a good 1.5-2 years at his age.0 -
I think La Redoute is fabby for childrens clothes. Good quality and you get stuff for round about the same price as Asda etc. They also have a sale on just now - I ordered my daughter a winter parka which was £11.00 reduced from £40.00:D0
