hi guys after some advice for my sister
yesterday she received a letter from the council/housing benefit
saying that a mattter has arisen about her claim for h/ct benefit and they want to interveiw her tommorow???
she is a bit confussed as she had them out to her at the begining of the year but they said this was as her then 1yr old daughter was not on there system and they also made her sign a letter to say she was on her own wich she is
the only thing she can think of id she was in hospital for a week in june this year and the kids dad looked after them in her home while she was ill and he has been arround there quite alot since (not sleeping there) helping her with the kids as the youngest has a bowel condition too where she is in constant agony
i have asked her if he stays there alot or not and she has said on the occasion he has slept in the kids room on the floor but this has only probably happened 5 or so times since she was in hospital she said he usuall comes round anytime from 6pm onwards and leaves 2,3 in the morning he was on jsa but this stopped about a month ago
she dose not cook or do any washing or anything for him and he has no belongings at hers and he also dose not contribute other that the 5pw that was taken out of his jsa for child m
dose anyone know what will happen in the interveiw ?????
or if its likely that its because he has been spending time there
many thanks

it sounds to me as if people have seen him arrive but not seen him leave -- and as such have reported it as a potentially fraudulent claim 'cos he's moved in.
only a gut feeling -- but sounds the most likely thing.Cheryl0 -
Might be worth taking photocopies of his rent book/ council tax details from the place where he actually lives, utility bills as well.0
