Why is that? You will require the same heat and nearly the same light, almost as much cooking, less washing.
[BTW, monthly direct debits can be very misleading for making your comparison, as the utilities like to set these too high and will recover the shortfall of a year in 3 or 4 months if they think they can get away with it]
I know they can hence why i paid more attention to wolvotim and swanjon
and only one person using hot water....and I'm very good at using just the right amount for cooking, less washing up and i don't feel the cold so won't have a partner whinging its cold....so I'm sure a single person can use less than a couple
especially if no one is home all dayIf you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have failed to plan properly
