KE easy access rates?

I've seen the announcement about honouring KE fixed term rates, but has there been any news on what ING intend to do with the easy access rates?
Also, has anyone seen whether the KE brand will be maintained or whether the KE a/cs (easy and fixed) will become standard ING a/cs?

Only ING can give us that information so keep an eye on this page for future updates: http://www.ingdirect.co.uk/kaupthingedge.asp0

Like funkyhitman says. However, I notice that there is no longer a link for new account applications on the web site.
If you already have a Kaupthing Edge easy access savings account, then they're still allowing you to buy new fixed term deposits, but if you don't have a Kaupthing Edge savings account, tough, the offer is no longer open to you.
That seems to be a very recent development.
I thought they might rebrand the accounts as something else; but if they're no longer accepting new applications, I think that rebranding would be very unlikely. I think it's more likely that they'll just slap the rates down until everyone leaves. They'll probably still honour the fixed-term deposits that people have already bought, though.
I'd say it's best to check the KE T&C's to find out exactly how much notice ING need to give you of interest rate drops.

That's easy - they just have to tell you within 30 days of it happening. First time I've read a T&C where the internal references are all wrong - bet that's got something to do with the novation clause getting axed in a hurry
.
Anyway, thanks guys - I'll keep an eye on the homepage.0
