Granite worktop edge

Square, half round or rounded?

Personally I think square but oh isn't sure.

Comments

  • We ended up choosing ogee, wife seen it, liked it and that was that
  • We not opted for granite, walnut, but still much prefer the square edge, think it will stand the test of time design wise..

square edge is easier to cut and should be a little cheaper.
a small chamfer along top edge will help against chipping it depends on if you have kids and how old they are rounded edge for about 5 and under if already older then square will be fine

We have square with chamfered edges. It looks really nice. Was going to go for rounded, but the square reflected the corners of the kitchen units and just seemed to look better. x
