sorry can't help about the paint offer, but just wanted to say good for you to walk away and go to another store. Each store has a target to match and this not so helpful manager might just find his is £36 short of his target this month

So thanks to the OP the store will close, everyone will be sacked, and families will become homeless, forced out on to the streets in winter, living in doorways, children begging...................

No I don't think so... The manager will besacked and somoene else with more customer service skills will atke his place. Thats good for customer service and the customer.
