I'm not talking about sound quality, all I've tried whether off e-bay, from petrol stations etc etc are mainly good in that department.
I mean durability! 1st one I bought off e-bay: good sound, but lasted a month.
Same story all the time. Been through 3 and I'm not at all rough with them, used for a maximum of 5 hours per week. Is there one that will last at least, say, 12 months :rolleyes: (big deal).
All bad reviews I read are about poorish sound quality, which I haven't had a problem with so far, its the build quality thats my beef. Have you ever taken apart your f**ked up kit?...well you'll see the tiniest, thinest wiring you can imagine.
Interested to know has anyone ever had one that has lasted over 12 months?
Ps... you must of actually used the ****ing thing during that time.

Hello there.
I have a belkin tunecast 2, which basically uses the headphone socket, the only thing is, unless your ipod/tuner is sitting right near your ariel (mines at the rear of the car in the roof) then you get interference as the output is not that strong.
The best one i have come accross is the griffin ipod transmitter which physically plugs underneath the ipod, that does seem to be a bit stronger.
Both the belkin and griffin are well built, you pay for what you get, spend a fiver off ebay, it will last a week, belkin and griffin are roughly £30 i believe.
Cheers

Kensington Universal - available from Amazon, it's very good works with iPods and any music player with a 3.5mm jack input, much better signal that Belkins or other brands, many of us have posted on it before, do a search
