count yourself lucky my partner pays over £300 a month CSA and he doesn't even get to see his kids, just because that's what she wants. his ex also gets all the benefits for them plus child tax credit, free prescriptions, money from the council for uniforms and lunches and rent free accomodation.Time is the best teacherShame it kills all the students*******************************************************************************************0

I thought, under CSA rules, the amount you are obliged to pay is linked to the time you have the children. So a father who has his children 50% of the time, pays less than one who had them every other weekend, for example?
I know my sister's ex has less to pay (or would do if he paid it, but that's another story!) because he has them for every other weekend but also for half of every school holiday.
I think you need to go back down the legal route with this tbh.
It's a shame they have to have two sets of things/clothes though, I think. My sister has had to do that because he were doing things like send them home in old wellies/slippers when they'd gone in their school shoes/best trainers etc and she was having to replace them. It's hard on the children though, imo, as it must be like dealing with two separate existences somehow.
It would definitely be cheaper for both of you if you could share their clothing amicably!0 -
we do share some clothes like football and gymnastics clothing that they use
but other than that it seems better to me to have my own every day clothes
i pick them up from school most of the time and then i can get them changed
into my own stuff
can i just put a claim in for child benefit and let them sort it out and hopefully give both parents 1 payment each0 -

she can't stop contact
see was told last time in court they will stick a penile notice on her if she breaks any contact in the future0 -
from what i've seen in other posts, a penal notice doesnt mean a thing,
the parent just ignores it and they get a slap on the wrist, ignore it and another slap on the wrist ad infinitum.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
from what she told me she was told keep breaking it and she could lose the kids and transfer residency to me so she has said she will never break it again0

Penal notices have absolutely no effect. How many mothers are sent to prison or fined just because they didn't let the dad see the kids??
They get a slap on the wrist - that is it.Time is the best teacherShame it kills all the students*******************************************************************************************0
