Taxable incapacity benifit.

I am on £84.50 Incapacity benifit per week. Ii have read this is taxable. I have been receiving this for 4 years, and I have not seen any tax removed or anything to say that I pay any tax.

It is taxable income but if you remain under your personal tax allowance there will be no tax taken off your IB.0

Yes, IB is taxable after 28 weeks. However, if IB is your only income, then depending on your tax code, you wouldn't normally pay any tax.
If you are due to pay tax, HMRC would tell JCP your tax code, and any tax due would be deducted from your IB payments.0 -
Yes its my only income other than interest from savings. I have been filling out the form R85 to get my savings interest, gross. I was making sure I was under the limit and didn't know what it meant by taxable .
