Angel what sort of problem are you having?
Are you trying to pay via a link from an ebay auction and if so how far does it let you get into the process before you have problems?
Paypal and ebay have scheduled maintenance on a Friday morning so it might be as simple as them not having finished and put everything back. Try clearing your cache and starting again and see if that helps.

Hi Soo, I have agreed to buy something off the auction, the lady has closed the auction and wanted me to either pay paypal, cheque or cash! I wanted to pay paypal because of speed etc! but it won't let me just send £5 without it being an open ebay auction!
I know people don't advise buying off of ebay but she has very good feedback and for £5 I think I can trust her!

Ok, there are two ways to pay her. You can either ask her to send you a direct invoice for payment, just tell her which email address you use for paypal and when you click on 'pay' funds will come via that account.
Alternatively log into your paypal account and click on the 'send funds' tab. You can't send it as an ebay payment so choose another option, goods is probably best and don't show any auction numbers or anything. Add in her email address and the amount and it should let you proceed. If you are trying to pay as though it is an ebay auction then you will have problems.
If that doesn't work email me and I'll eun through it in my paypal account and see if I missed anything vital in my answer...which is quite likely on a Friday evening!

Yeh you could practice sending me money!
I have tried sending her payment but it says "This email address can't accept paypal" She has probably just go a starter account! Don't worry I have arranged to send her a cheque now!
