I still prefer the "traditional way" of evicting squaters. I had a similar experience in a flat I rented once at university, A guy had moved in over the summer holidays after tricking a friend into storing the key. The first thing I found out about it was the estate agents ringing me up telling me the house was disgusting state on an inspection.
Basically went down there for the weekend and talked to the guy, he was un-co-operative so I left it for a day and got some friends rounded up. We went round there the next day and lobbed all his stuff out of a 2nd storey window, CD decks, Toasters, clothes the lot. It started poring down with rain just as we did it. He gathered up the remains of his posessions and we never saw him again.Save save save!!0 -
