Is it possible to copy an AutoPlay Application disc?

I have a Rosetta Stone Language disc which I would like to make a copy of as it cost a lot of money and I want to ensure if it does get damaged I have a back-up copy.
I have copied it to my hard-drive but is as single files and does not then work like the disc and do not seem to be able to copy it to another disc. Rosetta Stone obviously wouldn't want illegal copies being made so I wouldn't be surprised if there is a protection on it like copies do with dvd's. But is there anything I can do?
Another reason I ask is that it occasionally makes a lot of noise when playing. Dell have just this week done some work on my computer, but I am waiting to see if it reoccurs and work out if it
Thanks

You need a bit copier program and not just copy files off the cd. There are hidden files for example that do not show and will not be copied for example. Also time stamps will be updated and will be incorrect as will missing auto boot loader files. So do not use simple file coping techniques. Try the application Donnie suggests.0

I had a similar problem when I was "volunteered" to make some copies of a work related CD.
There were hidden files which didn't show or copy with the usual programs, including Donnies suggestion.
However I did eventually succeed with a 21 day trial from the murkier corners of the web, but it's probably not wise to mention such progams here.Move along, nothing to see.0 -

Did you select 'show hidden files' in Windows Explorer before proceeding?
I've made a copy of my Rosetta Stone media by using the Nero 'Copy' function, so I don't envisage any complication.
I use Alcohol 120 to mount my HDD images, though DAEMON Tools Pro Basic will do the job for free.0 -
OK, ignore everything above about using bit copiers and showing hidden files....
When a CD is inserted, Windows looks for a file called autorun.inf. It doesn't look for this on your hard drive. Secondly, the registry entry will have it looking for the data on the CD, not your hard drive so that's another reason it doesn't work.
If you use a free programme like CDBurnerXP, it has an option to copy CDs.0 -
Yes I did, I'll say this quietly, don't want to sidetrack the thread, the CD-ROM was copy protected (?)Did you select 'show hidden files' in Windows Explorer before proceeding?
I tried loads of things, my usual CDburnerXP, also ImgBurn, Deepburner,Alcohol 120 trial plus a few others.
IsoBuster, IIRC showed 598mb but I could only ever "see" about 140mb.
I could burn the setup part but not the remaining 450mb.
Anyway, it's now sorted.Move along, nothing to see.0
