Has anyone tried to log into their ICICI bank account within the last 12 hours?

Is it me or are they stopping people from logging in and making withdrawals?

Looks as though it's you - I just logged in with no problem, the site actually feels more responsive than usual.

Like definitely very well oiled lightning here.

First there was the big investment into servers to beef up the web site.

I've also noticed I've had some very fast responses to messages too. The staff are being very warm and pleasant and trying and succeeding to be extremely efficient.

I think they are really trying very, very hard to portray their bank in an extremely good light with a massively increased effort.

They have also just e-mailed thus:

With effect from October 30, 2008 we will be reducing the interest rate on our 1 year HiSAVE Fixed Rate Account (Without Early Access).

The new rate for this account will be announced on October 29, 2008 and will be applicable for accounts opened on or after October 30, 2008.

If you wish to take advantage of the current 7.20% AER/Gross on 1 year HiSAVE Fixed Rate Account (Without Early Access) please apply on or before October 29, 2008 by logging into your HiSAVE internet banking account.

Interesting times, eh?

I have had(and still have) great difficulties logging in to my ICICI account. I have had several phone calls to them where they tell me not to go in through favourites or to use search engines to go to their site.Despite doing neither and typing their address in directly I have had great difficulty to do any action with my account.It is extremely frustrating! The pages just take forever to load and usually I get timed out.I have used different pc's and different browsers with no improvement.

I've just logged in with no problem whatsoever - the site isn't the fastest, but fairly responsive.
