It's so ******* annoying. The cheek of them doing it after two phonecalls confirming they won't. How can they get away with this sort of thing?

I assume they have taken it by Direct Debit .
You can either get the DD reversed by your bank as the amount is not the agreed amount ,or you can phone BT tell them they have put your account overdrawn and ask for compo .BT normally give a minium 1 months free line rental if you complain."Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many"0
