Central Heating stopped working

Hi, not sure if this is the right place so Im sorry if its not.
Today I had the central heating on for a while, then later I noticed it was a bit chilly so checked the radiators and they were cold. Checked the boiler, it was on, checked the temperature dial thing and that was at 30. Not sure what happened at all.
Ive since looked at the boiler and there is supposed to be a green light on but its not and I have no idea how to get it to go on. Ive reset the meter but it didnt do anything. The hot water is still working.
The boiler is Potterton Promax Combi HE Plus.
Hope someone can help!
Thanks

Edit: Yes we have gas on lol. And the pressure is under 2.

I don't know what to say without sounding sexist?
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.
