Please help me-Smilies don't move!!!

I'm not sure when it happened but any smilies that are included in messages aren't moving

For example: :eek: is just a blue man with short hair and a smile, have waited for over five minutes and still no look of surprise, he he!

I use Firefox (v 1.0.7) and IE (v 6.0.2900.2180) and this is happening (or rather isn't happening!) on both.

Intel suggested the following to me on an unrelated thread but it hasn't worked:

No moving Smileys try,,, Tools, Internet Options, Advanced, Restore Defaults
if that dont work do a new Thread on the Techie Forum as suggested.

and Tigermatt has suggested I try you folk here-hope you can help

Are you running a pop-up blocker, e.g. Zone Alarm? Try tweaking it to allow pop-ups from this site.

I do use Zone Alarm and I managed to find where to customise it to still block pop ups but allow animations!

Glad to hear you sorted your problem. I have never heard of ZoneAlarm blocking Animations...

yeah....I got this some while ago and was beating myself up as I couldn’t find the solution. I suddenly woke up to the fact it was ZA blocking.
