You wouldn't get door knockers if these scumbag companies with the scumbag commission-!!!!!s were re-nationalised. Thatcher. Ugh. Only problem being I really wanted her to repent for her sins but unfortunately she's so senile she doesn't even know Dennis popped his clogs so I'm suspecting whe won't remember the myriad of disgusting things she did whilst in power. Shame.Call me Carmine....

What a pleasant comment from someone who is so concerned about the plight of the elderly.0 -

Also, if you had let him near your meter you would have more than likely got switched even if you hadnt signed, all they need is your meter number and they can switch you.
NEVER SHOW DOOR KNOCKERS A BILL OR LET THEM NEAR YOUR METER.
Not necessarily, last time I was switched without my consent I've never let them see any of my bills or my meter, and they switched me without problems. Unless they could acquire the meter number from another source, at the time I had just switched to Ebico and was waiting to get my first bill from them.
It happened as well when I was with BG years ago, I've never let them in my property neither. To be honest though I think there are some honest people doing it who are just trying to earn a living (just like there are helpful people in BG call centres) so I think it is bang out of order to be rude or slam the door in their face!
Very easy to say, but if you start trying to get rid of them in a nice way, they start their bullsh1t and cling to your door. It is a shame for the honest people who are just earning a living, but at the end you are just so fed up that you just close the door, and they are lucky if they don't have a fcuk off with it.
Last time I played someone who has forgotten to take his medication, jumping up and down, and gesticulating, it worked, I will always remember his face:rotfl: , he was quick to leave.
What makes me mad is that there is a poster on my front door stating that cold callers are not welcome, and sometimes they don't seem to see it.:mad:0 -
I've had a couple of similar calls, from people who claimed to be from SE, and who said that according to their records SE could offer me a better deal. When I ask them which supplier their records say I currently use, and what tariff I am currently on, they have no answer, so I just say I am not interested in talking to them, and close the door. They linger outside for awhile, then try further along the street.0

Two Npower salesmen knocked on my door at 7pm yesterday. Asked them what they wanted and they said police. So I opened door and quickly established that they were npower scum. Fortunately the lump hammer I was carrying saw them off my property.0
