    Hes not an indoor cat, but he does spend much of his time indoors.

    I do brush him & he goes to the groomers every two months. But he's a persian & persians & hair/furballs go hand in hand.

    I've always fed him food for furballs & hes always had them. I don't think this means the food isn't working, but the fact that normally he brings them up easily means he is.

    how about grow some cat grass &/or cat mint - especially for cat & put it (not cut still growing in it's tub - rooted) next to food bowl?

    I believe apart from more `outy' cat having shorter fur his free intake includes grass
    &
    live catch - I have seen him eat a whole bird - leaving behind only a few larger feathers (no beak/bones or anything it all was consumed)

    I read somewhere that mixing
    oatbran
    or
    olive oil
    with wet food can help.
