why wont my avator move?

I am looking for a moving avator , when i find one ,and put it in my pictures, i find it doesnt move, what am i doing wrong? the one your seeing now was a moving one.

your avatar needs to be an animated gif file.
There are several programs available for making them. Unfortunately i can;t really help on how to do it but if you search for animated gifs then at least you'll on the right road.

What file extension is your picture; .bmp, .jpg, .gif?
Could just be that the forum doesn't allow moving avatars, or your avatar is too big?Dave. :wave:0 -
The forum automatically resizes avatars that are too big. If an animated avatar is too big, then when it is resized it only uses the first frame in the animation.
You need to resize the animated avatar yourself before you try to set it as your forum avatar here.
There are quite a few online tools that you can use to do it.

Click User CP at the top left of the page and then in the column Setting & Options click on Edit Avatar and follow the instructions. Upload the picture of your choice from a avatar web site.
