find drivers

My son formatted his laptop, he reinstalled the disc that came with his laptop.
A few of his devices didn't install correctly, when I checked device manager there is 3 yellow question marks.

Is there anywhere I can go to find these drivers, I don't know what they are

Thanks
Mac

Can you give us the make and model of the laptop?

For laptops, the easiest solution is generally to note the make and model and then go to the "Support and Downloads" section of the manufacturer's website. They often zip up all of the device drivers as a single download.

See if any of those aren't installed yet - I suspect it's sound drivers, but could just as easily be modem or video. They're the ones which usually need drivers installing on a laptop. Failing that, try the rest.

sometimes just right clicking the drivers needed and updating via the net will pick them up (In DEVICE MANAGER I mean)
