Wii fit AVAILABILITY

Just to let you know I have managed to locate in stock wii-fit and board etc for £64.99 in xtravision in Banbridge today. I have been searching for about a fortnight now and the toyshops had none and there weren't any online at reasonable price. The lady said they had a few left but they would probably go quickly over the weekend. They had only come in today. That's the last of the toys bought for Christmas!!!!:j
2p or not 2p? That is the question!

You should have bagged em and stuck them on ebay, still selling for @£100 buyitnow.

    |Never seen the point in them, think this rather funny video sums it up

Wacko911, Unfortunately, or not as the case may be, I'll had'lly be using it. It was a request for Christmas and being an organised money saver I have just finished my Christmas shopping! As for putting them on ebay, I'm content to inform others that they don't have to shop online.

This moneygrabbing attidude is exactly the kind of ethos that this site is AGAINST.

As a community we advise each other and help each other SAVE.

As for Wii Fit availability, Xtravision seems to be the best place to get Wii Fit. Even if they don't have any in stock, if you put your name down, you don't usually have to wait more than a few days to get one. Nonetheless, the closer we get to Xmas, the harder it will be to get. Don't wait much longer otherwise you may end up disappointed. I also expect it won't be long before the Wii console gets into short supply again either.

Xtravision, in my experience, are great for having stock when everywhere else sells out. OH got me a wii fit the evening of the day it was released in one. This was just after he'd been shopping in the nearby tesco and been informed they had sold out not long after midnight. Plus if your local don't have stock they are usually nice enough to ring around other stores for you.

Yeah, totally agree but try telling someone making £600 for 30 minutes work their ethos is flawed! My mate bagged 6 wii's when they first came out and sold the lot within 12 hours for £100 more each than argos sold them for and 'helped' some desperate member of the communtiy who couldn't get one anywhere else.

Still think people doing this are scumbags but then again it takes me 2 weeks to earn that!

Glad we agree on this then...
Of course your mate could have "helped" 6 people by leaving them on the shelves and allowing those 6 other people to pay nothing more than the RRP.

It took me a month of searching (I refused to buy of ebay for over the odds on this one!!) to get a Wii Fit and the only reason I got one was due to pure luck in being in Woolworths when they had just received a deleivery of ONE - yes that's right one???

I became friendly with the guy in Game due to me being constantly in and out and he said the problems lay with Nintendo having only factory and can't keep up with demand - don't know if this is true or not mind.

With regards to the question regarding the Wii console apparently it may be hard to get hold off this year also (I had a trying time last year to get it).
