    Hi everybody.

Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.

What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.

If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.

what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.

    Kind wishes
    P

Just in case anyone is thinking about trolling whilst its quiet

    Err Tixy,

hate to break it to you but it is possible to wash a car without a hosepipe...

We did mine last month using a bucket of warm soapy stuff for the wash & then used watering cans with a rose to rinse. It did take about 3 cans but we live on the first floor & if you dry the car off quickly it's fine... well finer than paying the car wash anyway. Will defnitely do it tomorrow as long as it doesnt rain... only because it's a newer shinier car & i have to look after it, did the old one about once a year :rotfl:

    Erm:confused:

Thought hosepipe thing was a good excuse. So let me see what other half reasons I can come up with. Hmmm. I'm too short to reach the top of the car? Dog chewed the watering can rose when she was a puppy.
Ok I'm getting short of ideas - some quarter reasons. It won't dry quick enough to not be streaky. I've just gone on a water meter so might not be much cheaper. Next doors rottie will bark continuosly at me. I might break a nail or 3. Cheapest wash program is only £1.99.

    :rotfl:Okay I admit it -I'm just lazy

Oi, I am entitled to be lazy, I got up at 10am my body feels as though it has been run over by a steam roller:eek: I cannot raise my right arm above my head because it feels as though it belongs to someone else but I would do it all again next week:D You try washing hundreds of cars by hand in 4 hours, there were about 10 of us doing it:rolleyes: I think I deserve a break. Bring your bike up and it will cleaned by hand and we will do your visor too - and that will be £5 for you and £2 for your mates LOL

Talking of breaks I had better scoot as I am off to my parents to find out what they want for their birthdays next week:rolleyes:

    Ta Ta For Now.

    Love y'all
