Well, Wales didnt win the grand slam as they were beaten by France 21-16 :(

Still they have only lost one game so far so am hoping that they don't lose anymore otherwise they will end up with the wooden spoon:rolleyes:

Can't play on here much tonight as I need to be up early in the morning, need to wash my hair before I go out carwashing but will need to buy a sponge on the way otherwise I have no idea how the cars will get washed:rolleyes:

I am rather chuffed with this owl because I live in area that is somewhat built up but has a massive desolate place which is the biggest building site in Europe (the old Rover works), mind you thinking about it, a mile down the road there are green fields. I hope the blasted cats around here don't get it.

Think it's the cats that need to be worried, not the other way round H :D

I'm too tired so heading off to bed now,

Very exciting about the owl. I think Lula's right we had a little owl nesting is a tree years ago - it used to dive bomb one of our cat as she crossed the road (protecting its young) and one day she was so busy running scared from the owl that she got runover by a car (not a happy story to be telling I now realise). We've got a barn owl living nearby now. I keep seeing it in the fields when I'm walking the dog. They are so impressive to watch when they are hunting rodents. Also had several red kites around last year which was also exciting.

I thought you would be standing with the hose Horace - hair will get wet tomorrow, you could take along your shampoo?!;)

Cool -an allotment - I like the idea but I'm not very green fingered. Thought I might manage a couple of tomato plants this year:D I'm a bit useless at the remembering to water bit. My houseplants nearly always die.

    Hi everybody.

Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.

What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.

If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.

what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.

    Kind wishes
    P

...and a very late night bump :D
