I don't for 1 minute think it's any of the regulars from here. Anyways they can bug me with their pettiness but i
will stand my ground, mainly because they hide behind a message and were not strong enough to post in an open thread. So lurker \/ hehe:)0 -

Clio: Don't let the get to you.
You have every right to do as you want. Everyone on DFW is here for their own reasons and to become debt free in their own way.
The "Debt Free Wanabee is for help not judgement" applies to everyone, even here. It's fine to have an opinion, but not to judge.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

I revieved a PM from a new user who joined up yesterday, i got it 1st thing this morning due to going offline
early last night, I've been mulling it over before posting today.
" It said although i have not said anything wrong or bad etc but i should refrain from talking about buying takaways/watches as this is the DFW part of the forum and it's not appropriate for me to mention spend/spend/
spend all of the time. I did not mean any harm it was maybes wrong to go on about myself and buying this-that
when people are cutting back on their spending ".
So whoever it is that sent me the PM.
There was no need to hide behind a new username a quick post would of been enough.
Well it wasnt me Clio and so what if you talk about buying takeaways or treating yourself to something, it may be the DFW board but you also have to have a life.
How about this one then I bought a Paul Smith tie (cost £63) for a friend as his christmas and birthday present well I was supposed to meet him for lunch today to give him said present and have lunch but he didnt turn up:mad: I had lunch anyway and it cost me £13.95 (posh bangers n mash, side order of mixed veg and a hot chocolate made with asses milk:rotfl: ) Now I am in a quandry as this person stood me up and didnt have the courtesy to call me do you think it would be ok if I gave this tie to a tramp? Or should I do something else with it?

I have a gift receipt and cannot take it back to Selfridges to get a gift card because it has to be exchanged by 11 January. I was way too cold to trudge over to Selfridges to take it back. So maybe I will find a nice person to give the tie to instead.
The only good reason that he could come up with was if he was dead:mad: he hasnt bothered to contact me either by landline or mobile and I left messages on both and even sent the ratbag a text message.
Maybe I shall treat the tie as a piece of artwork and admire it from time to time:rotfl:0 -
