the option to transfer money from mbna to my bank account seems to have disappeared has anybody else noticed this ?
I still got a payment slip to do cash tranfers with my cc statment so i think they would allow me but i'd prefer to do it online or over the phone. I have to wait until midweek but its got me a little worried.

I've still got the option on "transfer balances"..click on that and you should get the transfer to bank account option...For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 20070 -
i don't even have the balance transfer option now hmmmm
any ideas ?0 -
Don't you have a 'promotions' tab in your secure area?
Failing that, call 0800 015 03070 -
Nope
I have summary
statments
manage account
make payment
pin and insurance products
i can view what my current rates are and im still on the promotional offers of 0%
all very strange. I don't really want to phone until i had to which was next wednesday.
hmmmm
cheers for the help0 -
I have two MBNA run cards.
Like you, on the first one I have no option to transfer balances (this account currently has a 'repeat' 0% BT deal on it).
The second account (on which I'm still in the intro period) has a 'Transfer Balances' tab between the 'PIN' and 'Insurance Products' tabs. Additionally, I have a 'Transfer Balances' clickable link to the right of "Available for Cash or Purchases" on the summary screen.
Why the reluctance to call now? After all, you're only asking for clarification.0 -
I have 50 pounds left on the card but by wednesday i will have transfered 2k from mbna to halifax i got a good deal with halifax when i phoned about deals for existing customers i got 0% for six months and then 6.9 % till the balance is payed. I was hoping to transfer just under 2k from mbna to my bank account since that would be 0% until feb/march.
I've read online that some people have had there credit limits reduced over night so with the sudden loss of the promotion tab bank transfer etc on the mbna page im thinking thats whats going to happen. I don't really want to phone giving them the option come wednesday to lower my limit.
I'm probably worrying about it too much
could the fact that i only have 50 pounds available as purchases etc be the reason why the options have disappeared.?0 -
yes if you have not got enought to balance transfer then the tab dissapears. what i mean is if you have not got 5% at least . it,ll come back when your balance rises.0

was wondering that myself...almost got to the point of thinking that the online systems were clever! For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 20070

That's a good point Clio.yes if you have not got enought to balance transfer then the tab dissapears. what i mean is if you have not got 5% at least . it,ll come back when your balance rises.
But you'll need to have 5% + £25 (which is the minimum BT amount) I would think?...but you should then be able to do a 95% of this 5% BT, meaning you could get to 99.xx%.0 -

yep something like that, it actually dissapears because of the minimum transfer if i remember. so you need to have at least £104 because the min bt fee is £3 @ 2.98% so thats def her reason it's gone..0
