Hi all,
Looking to get a new laptop and just wondered if a draft N wireless laptop would work with my current B/G wireless router.
Many thanks. Si

Yes it should. Wireless N cards are almost always backwards compatible with the previous standards, shouldn't have a problem with it.0

Thanks for that startech.
Only just got this router working, wouldn't want to have to that again any time soon!

I think the fact it says wireless N confuses people in regards to the OPs question unless of course it says that its compatible with wireless g0

Sorry DCFC79, do you mean by your post that they are not compatible?
cheers Si0 -
Depends on the wireless card.
Most wireless cards also back compatible. i.e. my g one is - a/b/g, the N draft I was looking at for upgrading is b/g/n0
