I'm sure they won't mind, especially as you don't make a habit of it. Have you finished work yet?
Tirlittan - I am going to have to retract my statement about Virgin earlier on. I logged on there to pay off some money and there was a 0% offer for transfers so I transferred £2900 from OH's card (not included in the paper hat challenge). The handling fee was quite high (5%) but it is until June 2010 which is quite a long time and it also gives me the chance to clear my remaining balance from Virgin and also concentrate on RBS, as the 0% needs to be paid off by November (and I have £3200 on that)
So with all the %'s my credit card balance at the moment (inc OH's card) is about £7590. Depressing isn't it? Still at least the majority is on 0% now. Something to be happy about!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

I've cleared my Capital One card now after them hiking up the interest rate, did a balance transfer for £770 and paid off the last £14.04 today (well comes out of my bank tomorrow). So I now have 6 credit cards, I cleared my Littlewoods account last month too.
Just waiting now for my brothers wedding to be over then when we come back will seriously concentrate on paying off debts. I paid the Capital One and M&S statement out of what I have in the bank so that leaves me about £25-35 until Friday (hopefully) when my Paypal money of £90 goes in, I only transferred it out yesterday morning so am hoping it goes in Friday.
Our house guest should be going home soon too, he's been here for 2 weeks today (was only meant to be a week). I think he likes it here, we will all miss him when he goes home, I hope he doesn't mind going back to his propery family as they live in a flat and don't give him any luxuries, he has been a bit spoilt here with a dog bed, dog treats, steak he had yesterday, plus his dry dog food. My girls will miss him so much.
That is all this end for now. Haven't sold anything on Ebay the last few days, have a few comics finishing tomorrow with bids on so fingers crossed I can get bids on a lot of the other stuff and make a bit of dosh. Got two e-mails now so am off to see if they are Best Offers on my Business Account.

savingh - finger's crossed for interviews. i must say i'm sure that a dilemma you wouldn't mind being in
i was just thinking. do you think virgin offered the 0% rate after reading this thread and realising that everyone was going to pay their balances off??
dh is home tomorrow night for a flying visit. has to go back early sun morning though. have to keep thinking about the money. his wages will clear 2 debts this month and i will clear a 3rd through o/p. that just leaves my o/d and our car loan.
the plan is to clear my o/d by november then o/p car loan and save for a deposit at the same time. i know we should clear the loan first but we really need to move so see the deposit as very important.Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
