Gap between applying cards

I got my MBNA card in Sept. and Capital One early this month. I'm thinking to apply for the Saisbury card for purchases since my 0% purchase on Halifax card is going to runout soon. I'm wondering if it is to close to my Capital One card application, if I apply it now. How long should I wait before I can apply to reduce the change for turning down.

Sainsburys Bank is effectively a Halifax credit card. Just to point out that you won't be able to transfer the Halifax debt directly if accepted by them. [And you are more likely to be accepted; a) after a longer pause, and; b) with the Halifax credit already cleared when you apply]
As regards 'serial' applications no one really knows, so you have to proceed cautiously.
Good Luck.....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0 -
Milarky,
Thanks. Very useful information. I think I'll clear my Halifax card, before I apply. Luckly, I have BT almost all the balance in the Halifax card to Capital one. Only a few hundreds left.
