Trago Mills thread?

I've been wondering whether there could be a thread for Trago Mills bargains?

Most of you are probably thinking what's Trago Mills? To most in the South West it's a group of 3 stores: Falmouth (Cornwall), Liskeard (Cornwall) and Newton Abbot (Devon), which sell everything and anything, at cheap prices!!

I know alot of people will have never have heard of Trago as it's just down in the South West (though they are meant to be expanding to Wales soon), but would be good for us who do live down here to be alerted to any really good bargains that can be found at Trago.

My most recent bargains:

Toothtunes toothbrushes RRP £7.99 - Trago £6.49 BOGOF making them £3.25 each! (My kids have been bugging me for ages to get these, but refused to pay £7.99 for them, £3.25 is a bit more reasonable!)

Febreze air freshener RRP £2.79 - Trago £1.49

Lazytown sticker book RRP £2.99 - Trago 39p

Bubblewrap large roll RRP £2.99 - Trago 84p

4 x rolls selotape RRP £2.99 - Trago 69p

Foam neck support pillow RRP £9.99 - Trago £3.99

Thats just a few of the things I have recently brought, there are hundreds of bargains to be had, they sell everything from toiletries to kitchenware, furniture to books, garden stuff to clothes.

They do have a website but it doesn;t do justice to the bargains that can be had!!

for those of you who don't know it but who pass it on the way to your holiday in devon or cornwall: it has a big section of fun rides for kids in the newton abbot one (just off the motorway) so dad and kids can do this (prices reasonable) while mum has a good nose round, followed by a reasonably priced meal.

I'm so jealous of you South Westerners! I adore Trago and used to love going there when we went down to see family in Cornwall.

It really is a good day out and the grounds that the stores are set in are lovely - especially Liskeard. Do they still have the peacocks roaming about?

Peacocks-they did at the Newton Abbot one a few months ago. Silly thing kept wandering around and getting in the way! I always like a trip to Trago Mills whenever I'm in the area. They sell all kinds of weird and wonderful things there.

We have visited all three stores.

Newton Abbot is favourite, and have done it on a day trip a few times.
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.
  • My son loves the steam train at the newton abbot store, we always look around the shop first, then they go on the rides and then look at the animals before going home. The garden center part is very cheap for pots etc, and the twins love the craft bits in the big store. They are also cheap for hamma beads, and sticker books.

  • The biggest problem with Trago is that when we were on holiday in Cornwall that we didn't have enough room to fit in all that we would have liked to bring back!

Superb stores and enough to keep the kids amused too! Just wish they would move to Scotland

Ooooh Trago!! There is a Facebook group!! I love it. Their craft departments are fab and have picked up so much stuff there that has been alot cheaper than at craft shops.
