Can you recommend an independent building inspector

The local council are charging my mum £40,000 for repairs to her block (she's a leaseholder) including fitting double glazing. I think this is too much and I don't think the work is up to standard. Can anyone recommend an independent building inspector?
Thanks in advance.

Best advice. Go to your local CAB and or contact the council and let them know that you are not satisfied with the cost or the standard of workmanship.Give me life, give me love, give me peace on earth.0
