Free Picture Editing sofware

Hi, I have just bought a digital slr camera and would like to edit my pics. Does anyopne know of any easy to use free online software?

Google's Picasa is a great free app, basic for some but if you don't need to Photoshop your photos it'll do just fine.

Many posts about this regularly, search the forum first!

Paint.net, Photoshop Express (free online) and the GIMP are my recommendations.

The you have more album based editors like Google Picasa.

Well seeing as I am just starting out something simple at the moment. I have been told that the software that comes with the camera isn't very good and takes up a lot of memory.

I have had some very helpful replies on here and I will have a look at some of the suggestions.
