Should get better MPG and it will clean the engine, but not a lot if you only use it once...:A Luke 6:38 :AThe above post is either from personal experience or is my opinion based on the person God has made me and the way I understand things. Easy enough to do. I double, triple and quadruple check that I'm putting the right fuel in the car - diesel or unleaded. But I sometimes mix up on the grades - super unleaded instead of unleaded or super diesel instead of vanilla diesel.
At least the fuel is in your own car. I've returned a hire car with a full tank of super unleaded once. The man without a signature.0 -

has some additives in, did you realise before you started pumping, i would of only put the minimum in (usually two litres)!0

Relax, if you put 40 liters in it cost you only £2.40 extra and you might make some of that back with better MPG. If you had put petrol it would have cost you a fortune!!0

There was a slight feeling of goodness when i had accepted putting GOOD diesal in , just not very moneysaving0 -
Could be worse think of all the others who have filled up with Diesel instead of unleaded and vice versa!0
