IANAL but it seems to me whoever or whatever caused the accident that means you can no longer drive a manual car is at fault here.

It is an unfortunate set of circumstances but unless you can gain their sympathy I do not see that you can do a lot.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0 -
