Hi, I am not sure what to do wih this- I tried contacting the adobe company directly, and also thier forum but the problem is, I need adobe on my computer to get the codes to do this-
and my problem? Since cleaning my computer with a cc cleaner, I now no longer have adobe and cannot seem to install it!
I have tried to download it several times, turned my computer on and off and on and off... made sure it was ok to go through the firewall, (well, I can find "install flash" to add on to the allow through the firewall list(flash is what I am trying to get back onto my computer) ) but I cannot seem to recify the mess my computer seems to be in!
I am hoping its just some tweeking on my control panel but I am clueless as to what to do! I use virus protection and it was fine with that, until I ran the cc cleaner.
Anyone else had anything similar? is anyone able to offer any advice?
Thanksyou in advance if there is anyone out there- the advice before on my last thread seemed to really help, I just wih I was more technical myself and could offer others advice!

Ive never EVER heard of a problem with CCLEANER!
You DID use the latest (Or at least a very up-to-date version yes??)
Use the UNINSTALL tool
http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_14157
Then reinstall ~
http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/
If that doesnt work you must have disabled it somehow!
What firewall is it? Perhaps thats still blocking the install somehow?
Install MALWAREBYTES just for a quick check for nasties
http://www.download.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html
UPDATE and QUICK SCAN
Let us know how you get on:idea:0 -
I know! Everyone seems to sear by cc cleaner- I am pretty sure it was the latest version, I have since taken it ff mycomouter as since using it everything from napster and the bc i player to being abled to have all my sign in details automaticly saved (nothing senstive/secure, just clothes sites and book marks and being signed into my toolbar, but enough to make thinsg take 5 times as long to do as I am not as fast at typing as the auto tool is at finding words and passwords pretyped!)
I have tried the malware tool which picked up and got rid of 100 odd types of adware, but nothing other then that. Nothing about flash.
I uninstalled then re-installed flash, nothing happened, still no result, still no flash on bbci player for example- I am getting a page asking me to click a link to download which I do, but it never downloads, I do get the picture the flash picture site talks about being able to see but it does not ever appear on my computer, I do manage to get an "install flash" tab, but no adobe flash tab on my desktop as before.
I think then by process of elimination, I must have disabled it, not sure how I have done this, nor how to correct it! Do you have any idea how I would do this? ?
Many thanks!0 -
CCLEANER can be set however you like. So if you didnt want to remove 'cookies', 'history, etc then you just untick them
100 adaware?? Thats NOT good! Forget the fact it never mentioned flash ~ any of those nasties could have stopped it from working (I should have asked you to post the log really)
Download SPYBOT
http://www.download.com/Spybot-Search-Destroy/3000-8022_4-10122137.html
UPDATE, IMMUNISE and SCAN (Immunise stops pop ups etc when browsing the net)
As for basic disabling
Im assuming you use Internet Explorer and your on XP?
Goto TOOLS - MANAGE ADD ONS - ENABLE OR DISABLE ADD ONS
If no joy, then for now I suggest downloading FIREFOX
http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/firefox/
And use that to browse
What firewall and anti virus do you use? Whats the CPU speed, and size of RAM?
For now we could really do with looking at whats running on your computer
Download HIJACK THIS
http://www.majorgeeks.com/download3155.html
SCAN and post the LOG on here (In parts if need be)
DO NOT REMOVE ANYTHING YET:idea:0 -
You can try the Flash uninstaller from Adobe's web site and then try reloading it.
Also on Adobe's website is the manual download for Flash. This works.
We've had similar problems at work, there's a specialist application we use (poorly written) that won't install if Flash is installed, but after this application is installed then won't allow the automated reinstallation of Flash!
So sometimes it's not a PC fault as such, just a software package already on the PC.
So we have to use the manual download from here :-

Hi,
I have downloaded and ran etc the spybot, it said I have 273 errors and corrected 20 of them, I can't afford to pay more money to try to fix this problem, I wish I could but I just dont!
I have Vista and had alrady tried going through tools, manag add ons (Idid this to begn with a while ago but ihae retried it just now), manage add ons, and have not been able to instal adobe- but it stil does not appear on the list for me to enable. I also clicked through to the link given here to download the flash player, I go through to the same adobe site and press to download, again I get the picture of the big F with the green & white stiped line below but I still get every other website refusing me entry unless I download flash, I can restart the computer- to no effect, and it STILL does not appear on the list for me to enable or allow through the firewall.
I am currently using AGV, I may try something different if its AGV that does not allow firewall though no one else has reported this as an issue so I am not sure what to change it to. The firewall is the one on Vista that I had already installed on the computer 2 years back. Yes, you are correct, I am using internet explorer, though I also have pages of Google Chrome (I use it for some sites as it seems to work really well,- its alot faster then I.E 7 but it also has patches yet to improve- such as not being able to acess Hotmail properly, nor does it have an autofill that works properly)
I have no idea what the CPU or RAM speed is as I am not really computer literate!
will post the log for Majorgeeks after the scan has completed!0 -

Anyways, download adobe here ~
http://www.filehippo.com/download_flashplayer_ie/
It seems the ACTUAL site has some sort of fault with it!:idea:0 -
OK,
I have just tried to do the scan, it told me I need flash to do the scan, I was actually able this time to press the "ALLOW ACTIVE-X" button, and thought... I had flash!- BUT no sooner had I tried to download it, I got a pop-up telling me "internet explorer cannot open the internet site http://www.majorgeeks......etcetcetc" and then "Operation Aborted" I had no other option then to press the OK button andthe page went to the "internet explorer cannot display the web page..."
I just wanted to add, I have regicure and have had regicure since april of this year. Not sure what it actually does.(!!) Never have any major reports with regicure, just the empty registry keys which I am told are normal, I get about 180 to 200 a week, even if I scan once per day, I get 150 in just 24 hours, I ddnt have any issues with flash a week ago so don't think its anything to do with regicure.
So, cant post a log, my computer said it is not able to access the site.0 -

Slowly driving me INSANE!!
Thanks for trying though!0 -

I would advise opening regicure and (if possible) put EVERYTHING back that its 'fixed'
Then I would suggest never using it again. ANYTHING that plays about with registries can make a mess of your computer!
As for hijack ~
