Indesit washerdryer, dryer died, fix or replace

So, my 4 year old washer dryer has suddenly demonstrated that it can longer heat up to dry washing. The washer works just fine.
I haven't had a quote yet, I have no plans to deal with call out charges but could do with a friendly word which tells me if a fix is probably worth it or if a new appliance would be a more appropriate spend?
I wouldn't be looking for simple/cheap replacements, I would like silver/chrome/black/steel to go with my kitchen/appliances and it has to be a washer dryer as I've no space for separates. Would benefit from taking a large load too.
Any ideas for bargain replacements to fit criteria welcomed too please.
Thanks

Although I would always get a qualified engineer it's personal choice if you feel confident enough to repair appliances yourself. No one can make you feel inferior without your consent -Eleanor Roosevelt0
