Epson R265 printer problem!

Hi,
Can anyone help? My R265 printer is no longer printing any yellow. I use compatible cartridges and have never had any problems before. I bought the printer before March 2007. I have done a head clean but all colours are printing ok except the yellow. Does anyone have any advice?

hi not sure if this is of any help but i have same problem on a few occasions with the black ink cartridge and cyan, it drove me mad i tried head cleaning, but no joy in the end i replaced the cartridge and it worked fine it turned out to be the cartridge that was faulty, the name of the cartridges i have had problems with are called pro-jet, also Ive had problems where the ink level indicator on printer and PC shows ink is full but when Ive checked its bone dry. its something to do with the chips not being reset correctly.

hope this may be of some help

It has a cleaning cycle for colour/black it can reset the ink counter too

make sure u select right printer

edit I also find its best to clean the ink pads either side of printer with some kitchen tower as they get very wet.
