Air Ticket UK Army

Deal all,
I am not asking whether the Army will pay for my travel to Africa. I can afford for my own air ticket; but I would like to know if the Army will allow me to visit my country after the phase 1 training and then come back for the phase 2 training.
Also, do the Army allow new recruits under training, to wear winter gloves? I would like know so as to buy one before leaving for my phase 1 training.
Also, can I take my steam iron with me? thanks.

    you've asked this 5 times now!

    it depends how long you get off in between training

    and you get issued winter gloves so don't need to buy your own however you won't be able to wear them all the time

    And yes you can take your iron with you.
    If you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have failed to plan properly


    I've only ever been wrong once! and that was when I thought I was wrong but I was right
