Sky TV in France

Hi,
We now live in France and use Sky TV. because of the complex rules, We are regeistered at a UK address (my brother) pay for for the UK TV licence. We do pay for the normal Sky subscriotion
Do I still need to pay this?. If I stop paying the TV licence, will Sky cut me off. Anyone know the definitive answer?

If you stop paying the Sky subscription you'll be cut off. You need to cancel it to retain the free channels (Channel 4, Channel 5 & Sky 3).
TV Licence is a different matter.... it has nothing to do with Sky at all - it's a tax on owning equipment capable of receiving TV broadcasts in the UK.There are 10 types of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that don't
In many cases it helps if you say where you are - someone with local knowledge might be able to give local specifics rather than general advice0
