It was on yesterday, now it says 'no audio output is installed'. What to do please? I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

May have lost your audio drivers. As this is a recent problem, I suggest using a system restore point. If you choose this, ensure you do not lose the latest MS updates.
Alternatively, click Start/ right click My Computer/Properties/Hardware tab and click on Device Manager. Any yellow exclamation marks shown, especially under Sound, video and game controllers.0
